Dear Habitat friend,
Join us today in observing World Habitat Day!
Today is that day that Habitat for Humanity joins the United Nations and many others around the world in raising awareness about the urgent global housing need and mobilizing individuals and communities to take action to address it.
We encourage you to participate in one of the many World Habitat Day events.
Habitat for Humanity’s recognition of World Habitat Day culminates at the end of November when the 29th annual Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project returns to Haiti. In the coming weeks, we’ll update you on the progress of the year’s Carter Work Project efforts and will offer a special opportunity to become one of our first virtual volunteers.
Thousands of people have signed the World Habitat Day Pledge to End Poverty Housing, and we want to keep up this powerful momentum in coming weeks as we prepare for this critical trip back to Haiti.
Thanks for all you do to help bring safe, decent and affordable housing to families around the world.
Gratefully,

Jonathan Reckford
Chief Executive Officer
Habitat for Humanity International
